New Munich Airport app for flight status update

The new MUC Airport app allows users to opt-in to push notifications so that they automatically receive information on their flight status update.

Munich Airport has released a new app for Apple devices, which offers real-time flight information and information on commercial services. Users can opt-in to receive push notifications, which are sent automatically if the status of a flight changes.

Also included is a car parking function that memorises the location of your car once you’ve parked in an airport car park.

Embracing the value of social media, Munich Airport has also included a function that allows users to share airport information via Twitter and Facebook, as well as SMS and email.

The new app is designed to complement the airport’s dedicated mobile website.
