New York airports to install virtual assistants
JFK, Newark Liberty and LaGuardia airports will each get a virtual assistant to assist with passenger enquiries.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey will install virtual assistants at JFK, Newark Liberty and LaGuardia airports to assist with passenger enquiries.

The Airport Virtual Assistants have been developed by AirportOne and provide basic airport information to arriving passengers, including information on security screening procedures.

A number of other airports and airlines have recently installed virtual assistants, including Frankfurt Airport, Boston Logan, and Spanish national airline Iberia.

A single virtual assistant is being installed at each of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey airports, with a view to adding more at a later date.
