Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) has opened a free-to-use Yoga Room at Chicago O’Hare International Airport, which travellers can visit to de-stress during their journey.

Located in Terminal 3, the Yoga Room includes exercise mats, floor-to-ceiling mirrors, video tutorials and relaxing music.

Rosemarie S. Andolino, CDA Commissioner, said: “On behalf of Mayor Rahm Emanuel, we are excited to offer this oasis for passengers travelling through Chicago’s global gateway…The Yoga Room provides a space for yoga practice as well as a place to relax or meditate. This is yet another amenity to help make the travel experience at O’Hare ‘best-in-class’.”

CDA has also said it plans to open a Yoga Room at Chicago Midway International Airport in the near future.
