Iberia Express is rolling out the Immfly entertainment solution across its fleet following a series of successful trials. The Immfly app offers passengers a selection of sponsored entertainment options, ranging from videos to digital newspapers thanks to partnerships with the likes of the BBC, Bloomberg, Vodafone, Financial Times and Euronews.
To make use of the service, passengers must connect to the local Immfly network onboard the aircraft using their smartphone, tablet or laptop.
In addition to the sponsored video content and digital publications, passengers can use the app to plan their trip. For instance, they can access destination specific deals and detailed city guides.
According to figures provided by Immfly, during the trial period more than 100,000 passengers used the Immfly app, with an average connection time of 40 minutes.
