Delta Air Lines has revealed that its new premium economy product, branded Delta Premium, will debut on select international flights in late 2017.

Each Delta Premium seat will feature up to 38 inches of pitch, up to a 19-inch width and up to seven inches of recline. They will also have adjustable head and leg rests.

Passengers will be able to enjoy in-flight entertainment on a 13.3-inch screen and will have access to in-seat power ports. Westin Heavenly In-Flight Blankets with pillows and a TUMI amenity kit featuring Malin+Goetz Travel Essentials will also be offered. The seasonal menu will be served with Alessi serviceware designed exclusively for Delta.

On the ground, Delta Premium passengers will be able to make use of the Sky Priority service, which includes faster check-in, fast track security, priority boarding and an expedited baggage service.

Tim Mapes, Delta’s Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, said: “Delta Premium is Delta’s latest example of paying careful attention to what customers tell us they want and responding with unique products designed to meet their individual needs.”

The new premium economy cabin will be introduced on the airline’s Airbus A350s, which enter service next year. Delta A350s will feature 48 Delta Premium seats, as well as 32 Delta One suites and 226 Main Cabin seats. Delta Premium will then roll out on the carrier’s Boeing 777 fleet beginning in 2018.
