Brian Loo is a Producer for Walt Disney Imagineering and a creative lead for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. In his role, he supports the Millennium Falcon Attraction, Merchandise and Retail, Food and Beverage, Area Development, and Corporate Alliances for the most ambitious and largest expansion in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disneyland history.
Brian graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research.
He began with the Walt Disney Company in 2006 as an Industrial Engineering Intern at the Disneyland Resort and later moved into Workforce Management. In 2010, he joined Walt Disney Imagineering as a Project Control Specialist, which led him to join the Creative Division as a Producer.
Since joining Walt Disney Imagineering, Brian has worked on Shanghai Disney Resort, Grand Central Air Terminal Visitor Center – A National Historical Site, Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Mystic Manor at Hong Kong Disneyland, New Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom, and Cars Land at Disney California Adventure.
Brian is a two-time recipient of both The President’s Volunteer Service Award, a program to recognize volunteers with presidential and national gratitude, and Disney’s VoluntEAR Team of the Year Award. He has also won several THEA awards from Themed Entertainment Association.
