Think Tanks

The latest instalment of the FTE Tech Download Think Tank will take place in the Premium Conference at FTE Asia EXPO 2018. This Think Tank brings together experts and innovators from inside and outside of the air transport sector to assess a range of new and emerging technologies, co-create visions and solve industry challenges.

One-to-One Meeting System

Following on from its success at last year’s event, the One-to-One Meeting System will be available once again at FTE Asia EXPO 2018.

We encourage all of our attendees to use this bespoke online meeting system to help ensure that you get to meet the right people during the event. As well as access to essential information including the conference agenda, exhibition floor plan, speaker biographies and exhibitor profiles, First Class airports, airlines, exhibitors and sponsors can use the One-to-One Meeting System to pre-arrange meetings with fellow delegates and exhibitors.

This personalised meeting system is the easiest and most time-effective way for First Class pass holders (airlines, airports, exhibitors and sponsors) to connect with the right people who can help redefine their organisation’s passenger experience and business performance strategies. Before and during the show, users are able to schedule 10-minute meetings and populate their personal schedule with conference sessions of interest. We are offering all airports and airlines a complimentary First Class pass when they commit to arranging just three meetings using this system.

In addition, Business Class pass holders and First Class pass holders (including vendors) can access event materials via this online system, as well as the ability to accept meeting request from airline and airport attendees, and exhibitors and sponsors. This will help to seamlessly connect the 1,750 expected attendees on our dynamic EXPO floor.

For airline/airport representatives, we offer two registration options:

Option 1 – First Class – Free of Charge (when committing to arrange three meetings with exhibiting companies via our One-to-One Meeting System)*

Option 2 – First Class – $US250 (no commitment to make three meetings)

*Each individual registered will be required to arrange three meetings via the meeting system. Each attendee’s meeting count will then be verified prior to their arrival at the event. Any individual without three meetings arranged will be charged the US$250 registration fee.

I represent a vendor/supplier/other organisation:

Register your place today, choosing either a Business Class or First Class pass. All passes include access to the system for viewing the conference agenda, exhibition floor plan, speaker bios and exhibitor profiles. Attendees will also be able to receive meeting requests from airport/airline attendees and exhibitors but will not be able to view the full list of attendees or request meetings themselves.

Those representing a vendor/supplier/other organisation wishing to request meetings with their fellow attendees are invited to exhibit at the event. All attendees will receive an email from the FTE team with their personalised login details and user information on Monday 22 October. From this date, all registered airport, airline, exhibitors and sponsors will be able to request meetings. Vendors and Business Class pass holders will be able to receive and accept meeting requests.

If you are completing your registration after Monday 22 October, your details will be imported as part of a bi-weekly addition to the system, and you will receive an email to notify you that access has been granted. Unfortunately, access to the system is not available automatically upon registration.

Please note, the One-to-One Meeting System is not accessible through the main FTE Asia EXPO website.


Tech Briefings

At FTE events the EXPO floor is just as valuable a learning forum as our conference stages, and to take that to the next level this year we will be leading guided tours of the exhibition. Attendees will be able to meet exhibitors with relevant products, services and concepts so they can learn more about the technologies they are most interested in. In some instances, exhibitors will be joined by their customers who will provide a holistic overview of the projects they have executed together.

Onboard Hospitality Forum

FTE has also formed a strategic partnership with leading onboard services magazine Onboard Hospitality to invite inflight catering, wellbeing, design and innovation specialists to meet at this well-established show within a new, dedicated area. The Onboard Hospitality team will work with IFSA (International Flight Services Association) to bring a series of inspirational passenger experience speakers to the Forum. IFSA CEO Joe Leader will be in attendance alongside nearly 40 IFSA member airlines based in Asia. The event will offer the onboard hospitality sector the opportunity to share Asia-specific insights and information, as well as showcasing their products to the region.

Fun, Asian-themed networking activities will also be featured as an integral part of the event, created in a collaboration by Onboard Hospitality and APOT.Asia. Attendees will be able to join relaxed networking events created specially to bring the flavours of the region to the show and connect the passenger experience to the destinations served.
