The free-to-access Hollywood Theatre at Portland International Airport can seat 17 guests at any one time.

Passengers flying from Portland International Airport can now pay a visit to the Hollywood Theatre. The 17-seat microcinema is located post-security in Concourse C.

The new facility has been developed by Portland’s non-profit Hollywood Theatre in collaboration with the PDX Art programme at the Port of Portland.

It will offer short films from Pacific Northwest filmmakers, including documentaries, music videos, animations and short fiction. The hour-long programme will be updated quarterly.

The airport cinema is co-programmed by Hollywood Theatre and Port of Portland staff, and filmmakers are encouraged to submit their work for consideration through Film Freeway.

The free-to-access cinema will also host special events and occasional live performances.
