China Airlines app allows for booking and payment

The China Airlines app now includes a ‘Flight Reservations’ function that enables passengers to book and pay for their flights via their smartphone.

The latest mobile services from China Airlines enable passengers to book and pay for their tickets and check-in for their flight using a smartphone.

A new ‘Flight Reservations’ function has been added to the app, and this new function is currently available for iPhone users. Customers can use the app to purchase up to four tickets in a single transaction.

Passengers flying internationally with China Airlines can also check-in via the app from 24 hours to 3 hours prior to their departure. Passengers departing from Taoyuan, Hong Kong, Frankfurt, Osaka, Vancouver, Tokyo Narita and Tokyo Haneda Airports can download a mobile boarding pass to their smartphone, while they also have the option of printing the boarding pass at home or at a self-service kiosk at the airport.

The China Airlines app is available on iOS, Android and Windows Phone platforms and offers passengers information on airport services and promotions, flight status updates and the option to manage their booking.
