Jet Airways launches mobile check-in and e-boarding pass

The new mobile services from Jet Airways enable passengers to check-in, select their seat and receive an e-boarding pass all using their mobile phone.

Travellers flying with Indian carrier Jet Airways and its code share partners can now check-in using their mobile phone and have their boarding pass sent directly to their device.

Passengers can check-in for their flight and view interactive seating maps via either the airline’s new mobile-optimised website or the official Jet Airways app.

The new mobile functions also allow travellers to update their frequent flyer details and choose their onboard meal preference ahead of their flight.

  1. Great technology uses; with an eBoarding Pass does how does the Cabin Crew know the customers’ name, they are on the correct flight and which seat that are sitting in?
