Second Delta Sky Club opens at JFK Airport “packed with special details” and “signature hospitality”

Delta Sky Club has opened its second lounge at its New York JFK hub, located in Terminal 4. The 14,000 square-foot Club seats more than 250 guests and includes a covered Sky Deck. It is described as “packed with special details” and “signature hospitality”.

Delta Sky Club has opened its second lounge at its New York JFK hub, located in Terminal 4 near Gate A7. The 14,000 square-foot Club, which seats more than 250 guests and includes a covered Sky Deck, operates alongside the Club in Terminal 4, Concourse B. Together they have capacity for over 800 guests simultaneously at JFK.

The lounge design takes inspiration from New York City itself – “the gritty and the glossy, a city rich with contrasts and pulsating with life”.

A fireplace lounge provides a cosy ambience for work or relaxation, while guests enjoy sweeping views of the airfield. A tucked-away nook with lush green seating evokes the elegance and privacy of a classic speakeasy. A signature, 360-degree premium bar serves as the Club’s centrepiece.

“This new Club is beautifully designed and packed with special details that reflect the magic of New York City,” said Claude Roussel, Managing Director, Delta Sky Club. “But much more important than that, it’s a place where our people can deliver Delta Sky Club’s signature hospitality, making each guest feel welcomed and cared for from the moment they step inside.”

As part of Delta Sky Club’s commitment to highlighting local, emerging chefs through its ‘Local Flavor’ programme, the JFK T4-A Club will feature the work of Elyssa Heller, Founder and CEO of Edith’s Eatery & Grocery in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
