London City Airport and Rockwell Collins join FTE Global ‘Airport Futures’ session

London City Airport CIO Alison FitzGerald and Rockwell Collins Director of North American Sales, Global Airports William Flowers will participate in the “Airport Futures” session at FTE Global 2015, 9th-11th September 2015.

We are delighted to announce that London City Airport Chief Information Officer Alison FitzGerald and Rockwell Collins’ Director of North American Sales, Global Airports, William Flowers, have joined the line-up for the “Airport Futures” conference session, which will take place in the ‘On the Ground’ conference at FTE Global 2015, Las Vegas, 9th-11th September 2015.

William Flowers, who recently joined Rockwell Collins from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport where he was Vice President and Chief Information Officer, will chair the session, while Alison FitzGerald joins as a panellist.

The Airport Futures session will explore various new technologies that will impact the airport experience in the months and years ahead, including auto check-in, single passenger tokens, Smart Security, robotics, biometrics, the cloud, mobility, interactive FIDS, virtual interactions, the Internet of Things, auto translation apps and more.

Swedavia’s Lena Rökaas, Chief Operating Officer, Stockholm Arlanda Airport, and Kickie Hiller, Director Customer Experience & Marketing Insight, will deliver an exclusive presentation entitled: “A vision from Swedavia on the passenger and data processing techniques of the Future Airport, building on the work of the FTE Airports 2025 Think Tank.”

Other confirmed panellists in this session include Javier Massot, Vice President Doha Hub, Qatar Airways; Kevin Lupowitz, Chief Information Officer, CLEAR; and Mike Crump, Product & Innovation Director, Honour Branding & Captain of the FTE Onboard 2025 Think Tank.
