Future Travel Experience has launched a new podcast designed to bring together aviation leaders to share practical insights into the innovations shaping the passenger journey, and speed the path to successful implementation.
The debut episode features members of the IAG Transform team – Harvey Tate, Head of Airport Innovation; Keith Walters, Group Transformation Lead; and David Breeze, VP Airport Automation, Operations – who discuss International Airlines Group’s (IAG) innovation philosophy, its approach to industry partnerships, and the role new technologies can play in improving turnaround efficiency.
The conversation also explores the importance of investing in the right talent to ensure emerging technologies deliver meaningful impact across the business.
Harvey Tate, Head of Airport Innovation at IAG Transform, told the FTE Podcast: “We need people with experience, knowledge and capabilities to be able to use these new tools, to make us more effective.”
He added: “A lot of new technologies will be deployed to augment the people, to amplify the people, make them more efficient and capable of doing more… the onus is on the company to bring the people with us.”
