Eclipse Technics

Eclipse Technics is one of the world’s leading independent integrators of connectivity retrofit programmes on Airbus and Boeing fleets among others. When an airline decides to connect its fleet, someone has to turn that decision into a certified, installed and airworthy aircraft. That is our business, and it has been for more than twenty years. We hold an EASA Design Organisation Approval (Part 21J) since 2003 in Toulouse-Blagnac and a Production Organisation Approval (Part 21G) in the south east of France covering the full chain from feasibility study to delivered modification kit.
 
Since 2021 we hold autonomous STC issuance privileges – the first European Design Organisation to be granted this designation. In practical terms, this means we certify in our own name, on our own timeline, without depending on a third party’s certification queue. For an airline running a fleet-wide retrofit against a fixed slot plan, that difference is measured in months.
