Two workshops exploring the viability of self-boarding and CUPPS were followed by a spectacular ice sculpting performance by Fear No Ice on the opening day of FTE 2011. More than 400 delegates from 33 nations are in attendance in Vancouver.

More than 400 delegates from 33 nations are in Vancouver attending Future Travel Experience 2011. The event got underway yesterday with two fully-subscribed workshops exploring the viability of self-boarding and CUPPS (Common Use Passenger Processing Systems), followed by a spectacular ice sculpting performance by Fear No Ice at the Welcome Reception.

The conference and exhibition is taking place today and tomorrow, with the keynote address being delivered by renowned global futurist, Rohit Talwar, and presentations from the likes of YVR, Google, Qantas, Air New Zealand, Air Canada, United, Transportation Security Administration, Incheon International Airport Corporation and Amtrak.
