The TravelX platform helps carriers unlock incremental revenue by giving passengers more flexibility after booking through solutions such as flight swaps, seat buybacks, and overbooking optimisation. It integrates directly with airline systems to create a seamless customer experience while helping revenue management teams maximise yield and improve operational efficiency.

“APEX FTE EMEA and Ancillary & Retailing brings together many of the industry leaders shaping the future of airline retailing and customer experience, making it a natural fit for TravelX,” says Restrepo. “Our goal is to continue strengthening our presence in the European market, showcase the value airlines are achieving with our platform, and engage with forward-thinking carriers exploring new post-booking revenue opportunities.”

As well as being Platinum Sponsor, TravelX is also exhibiting at APEX FTE EMEA and Ancillary & Retailing, where attendees can expect hands-on discussions around how airlines can generate significant incremental revenue from the post-booking journey while improving passenger flexibility and satisfaction. “We’ll be showcasing our AI-driven optimisation capabilities, dynamic offer generation, and the strong commercial results our airline partners are achieving,” Restrepo explains. “We’re especially excited to highlight how advanced machine learning and personalisation are enabling airlines to move from reactive to proactive post-booking revenue management.”

Martin Restrepo, Director of Business Development, TravelX: “FTE events bring together some of the most innovative minds in aviation, creating a unique environment for collaboration and idea-sharing.”

Attendees will hear more in the APEX FTE Ancillary & Retailing Conference, with Restrepo delivering a joint presentation alongside Volaris titled ‘Turning Flexibility into Profit: Volaris & TravelX’s Post-Booking Playbook’. “The session will focus on how airlines can transform passenger flexibility into a meaningful revenue opportunity,” Restrepo shares. “Together with Volaris, we will share practical insights on how post-booking solutions can help recover low-yield inventory, improve load optimisation, and create a better customer experience. We’ll also discuss the operational and commercial lessons learned from scaling these initiatives successfully.”

TravelX continues to expand globally, working with leading airlines across multiple regions. Recently, it has been strengthening its overbooking optimisation capabilities, expanding integrations across different airline technology environments, and enhancing its personalisation and machine learning models to drive even stronger commercial outcomes for our partners.

With the growing focus on personalisation in the travel industry, TravelX leverages technology to enhance the customer journey and provide more tailored experiences. “Personalisation is at the core of our platform,” says Restrepo. “We leverage machine learning models to determine the right passengers to target, the best timing and communication channels, and the optimal incentive to maximise conversion while protecting airline revenue. This allows airlines to deliver highly relevant and seamless offers that create value for both the passenger and the airline.”

Innovation and close collaboration with airline partners are central to the TravelX strategy. The company continuously invests in AI, automation, and advanced revenue optimisation capabilities while ensuring its platform remains flexible and easy to integrate. As airline retailing evolves, TravelX believes the post-booking journey will become an increasingly important area for revenue generation and customer engagement.

“FTE events bring together some of the most innovative minds in aviation, creating a unique environment for collaboration and idea-sharing,” says Restrepo. “We value the opportunity to engage directly with airline executives, technology leaders, and partners who are driving transformation across the industry. This year, we’re especially excited about the strong focus on ancillary innovation, personalisation, and modern airline retailing.”

TravelX encourages attendees to visit its booth, attend the session with Volaris, and connect with its team throughout the event to discuss how post-booking optimisation can unlock new revenue opportunities. “We’re looking forward to meeting industry peers, exchanging ideas, and exploring new partnerships that can help shape the future of airline retailing,” Restrepo adds.
