Micro-X CEO US on how fully integrated self-screening checkpoint modules could transform the security experience

Future Travel Experience caught up with Brian Gonzales, CEO US & Chief Scientific Officer, Micro-X, at FTE Global 2023. In this video interview, he shares how Micro-X is developing innovative technology to redesign airport security checkpoints in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as part of the ‘Screening at Speed’ programme, as well as the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). “We’re working with DHS and the TSA Innovation Task Force to reimagine what the airport checkpoint could look like,” Gonzales explains. “We’ve developed a small CT scanner and that allows us to shrink the entire checkpoint into a small, modular system.”
