The Day 2 Closing Session at FTE Dublin 2023 included a keynote presentation by Kenny Jacobs, CEO, daa, on “Thinking BIG in airports”, with a future plan centred on “Basics, Innovation and Growth for passengers, airlines, people and communities”. Jacobs’ presentation also focused on sustainability, delivering a better passenger experience, and growing non-aeronautical revenues through digital.

Day 3 at FTE Dublin 2023 began with a fascinating Opening Keynote on “How is Alaska Airlines using innovation to take itself to the next level?” by Charu Jain, Senior Vice President Merchandising & Innovation. Jain outlined a transformational project that is seeing Alaska Airlines innovate the lobby experience with a $2.5 billion investment in its hubs and focus cities, including Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Anchorage. These efforts aim to get passenger through the lobby and to security in five minutes or less.
