Los Angeles World Airports, host of FTE Global on 19-21 September 2023, has celebrated the topping out of the Tom Bradley International Terminal Core at Los Angeles International Airport.

Orlando International Airport’s Terminal C features 15 additional gates, which will increase the airport’s capacity by 25%.

The airport’s $231m Concourse A expansion, scheduled for completion in 2024, will feature new gates, a retail store, a restaurant and two open bars.

The funding will support near-term Airport Expansion and Development Program (AEDP) projects to support expected growth in passenger traffic.

Alaska Airlines has begun a $2.3bn investment in infrastructure upgrades at Seattle-Tacoma, San Francisco, Portland and Los Angeles airports.

The first phase of the $2.3 billion Delta Sky Way features new centralised check-in lobby, expanded security checkpoint and baggage claim.
