Sichuan Airlines takes delivery of its first Airbus A350-900


Powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines, Sichuan Airlines’ A350-900 aircraft features a two-class cabin layout with 331 seats – 28 business and 303 economy. The airline will initially operate the new aircraft on its domestic routes, followed by its international “Panda Routes”.

Sichuan Airlines has taken delivery of its first A350-900 leased from AerCap, becoming the first Chinese mainland operator via leasing to take delivery of the twin-engine wide-body aircraft.

Powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines, Sichuan Airlines’ A350-900 aircraft features a two-class cabin layout with 331 seats – 28 business and 303 economy.

The airline will initially operate the new aircraft on its domestic routes, followed by its international “Panda Routes”.

The Airspace cabin, in addition to aircraft spaciousness and quietness, provides an improved ambience, design and services, contributing to higher levels of comfort and well-being for passengers in all classes.

Sichuan Airlines’ new aircraft is the first Airbus A350 in mainland China to be equipped with the Thales AVANT inflight entertainment system.
