STARLUX Airlines unveils new cabin design for A321neos

Economy class seats on the new A321neo are equipped with a high-quality leather headrest and a personal entertainment system with a 10.1-inch 720p screen.

Taiwan startup carrier STARLUX Airlines, set to launch operations in early 2020, has unveiled new cabin designs for its upcoming Airbus A321neos.

The cabin interior, as well as the seating for A321neo economy and business classes, has been designed by BMW Group Designworks.

Economy class seats feature bright and natural colours, and ultra-thin seatbacks engineered to increase leg room. Every seat is equipped with a high-quality leather headrest and a personal entertainment system with a 10.1-inch 720p screen with USB ports and single earphone ports. Free Wi-Fi with basic access is also provided.

The business class seats are equipped with a 15.6-inch 1080p inflight entertainment screen, and can transform into an 82-inch fully flat bed.

The business class seating comprises darker, more elegant colours such as classical dark grey and rose gold on the cushions and privacy dividers, and Cashmere Silver inspired by BMW adds high-tech touch to the back shells.

The business class seats are equipped with a 15.6-inch 1080p inflight entertainment system screen, and can transform into an 82-inch fully flat bed. The seat control panel is situated beside the headrest so that a passenger can reach the button easily to return the seat to an upright position.

In addition to the new aircraft design, the airline is also introducing a new uniform collection for cabin and ground crews, as well as a new exclusive signature fragrance. The first A321neo will be delivered at the end of this month.
