At the co-located APEX FTE EMEA and Ancillary & Retailing events (Dublin, 10-12 June 2025) Virgin Australia and HTS (Hopper Technology Solutions) – a Gold Sponsor – announced that they have partnered to launch an enhanced hotel accommodation platform for the airline’s customers. This marks the first HTS partner to integrate HTS Stays – a modern accommodation solution for airlines to accelerate their cross-sell capabilities, into its direct channels.
The booking portal, powered by HTS, is now available on the Virgin Australia website and mobile app. Customers can earn three Velocity Frequent Flyer points per one Australian dollar spent in the new portal, which offers a fully integrated user experience.
HTS Stays empowers partners with a highly customisable and fully branded accommodation marketplace. Integrated with an airline’s digital ecosystem, including loyalty programs and customer relationship management (CRM) systems, the platform enables airline partners to offer customers a seamless booking experience encompassing flights and hotels.

“We pride ourselves on building modern marketplaces that meet the evolving needs of modern travellers,” said Dakota Smith, President and Co-Founder of Hopper. “By pairing our award-winning mobile and web UX with our innovative approach to rewards, we are steadfast in our mission to elevate the travel booking and trip-taking experience for travellers globally.”
Virgin Australia General Manager, Direct & Ancillary, Rob Pickering said: “HTS has proven to be a strategic and critical partner for modernising and enhancing our sales channels. By enhancing our accommodations offering with HTS, we are excited for our customers to enjoy a more seamless and personalised booking experience for their whole trip.”
