At the co-located APEX FTE EMEA and Ancillary & Retailing events (Dublin, 10-12 June 2025) Retail in Motion (RiM) – one of the world’s leading providers of retail and technology solutions for the travel industry – announced a new five-year contract with its longest-serving client, Ryanair, for onboard retail product, distribution and technology.

RiM has been a trusted partner of Ryanair for over 15 years, a collaboration that began with the supply of small foil wobags (‘baggies’) and sandwiches, gradually expanding to cover the full food and beverage distribution onboard. Managing a complex supply chain, with over 90 bases supplying over 618 aircraft, RiM has maintained a 99% delivery and product availability KPI over the duration of the contract.

RiM’s onboard hospitality offering is supported by its full suite of Vector technology and hardware, providing end-to-end management from distribution and warehouse packing to inflight payment and post-flight reconciliation. Additional services include procurement, crew engagement, product packaging and design, last mile process management and menu card design.

“Retail inMotion is privileged to continue our long-standing partnership with Ryanair,” said John Moriarty, CEO, Retail inMotion. “Our businesses have evolved together over the last 15 years, and we look forward to the next chapter, as we continue to support Ryanair’s complex operations, explore sustainable packaging solutions aligned to its industry leading sustainability goals and actively expand its product portfolio to improve passenger experience.”

Ryanair’s Aoife Greene said: “We’re pleased to continue our longstanding partnership with Retail inMotion, whose tailored retail and technology solutions help ensure our aircraft are stocked full of delicious food and beverage options for our 200 million plus passengers p.a.”
