Iberia – a member of International Airlines Group (a Corporate Partner of the FTE Digital, Innovation & Startup Hub) – has launched a new tech-focused subsidiary. Iberia Tech consolidates a new strategic pillar for Iberia Group in the field of digital transformation. The company, wholly owned by the Spanish airline, is responsible for providing cutting-edge technological solutions to both companies within the group and external customers, including airlines such as South and Level.

The launch of Iberia Tech marks a firm commitment to modernising the critical systems that support daily operations, as well as to exploring new opportunities for innovation aimed at improving the passenger experience and the efficiency of internal processes. To this end, the company adopts agile methodologies designed to maximise results and ensure stability in an environment as demanding as the aviation sector.

In addition to providing services to Iberia Group entities, Iberia Tech is positioning itself as a technology partner for third parties, helping to diversify Iberia’s offering and strengthen its position in the international aviation ecosystem. The new technology subsidiary is committed to laying the foundations for a long-term digital strategy, aligned with the objectives of sustainability, connectivity and prosperity.
