REDEFINING THE END-TO-END PASSENGER EXPERIENCE AND BUSINESS PERFORMANCE
Denver International Airport has opened its new West Security Checkpoint as part of the Great Hall Program, with “advanced technology creating a more efficient process and better experience for passengers”.
Fukuoka International Airport is to install new computed tomography (CT) X-ray scanners from Smiths Detection, meaning travellers will no longer need to remove electrical items and liquids from hand baggage.
Phase one improvements to the security checkpoint at Louisville Airport (SDF) are underway, as part of the ‘SDF Next Program’ that will see $400m invested in enhancements to the Jerry E. Abramson Terminal.

Riga Airport has introduced a separate screening line at the passenger security checkpoint for families travelling with children under the age of seven as part of efforts to “improve the travel experience”.
Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport is deploying 12 Rohde & Schwarz QPS Walk2000 walk-through scanners to optimise and streamline security and support high-volume screening at its employee checkpoints.

VINCI Airports has announced a £100 million five-year investment plan to increase Belfast International Airport’s operational efficiency, while improving passenger experience and environmental performance.
