REDEFINING THE END-TO-END PASSENGER EXPERIENCE AND BUSINESS PERFORMANCE
ORD is to receive an additional $40 million in Airport Terminal Program grant funds. The grant will be used to upgrade customer amenities, improve security screening and expand accessibility at Terminal 3.
Vienna Airport has started its €420 million terminal expansion. The development, to be complete in 2027, includes modern new retail and F&B, new lounges, and a state-of-the-art security checkpoint.
Katowice Airport has announced plans for its investment programme for 2024-2028. The biggest project planned is construction of a new central passenger terminal designed with functionality and flexibility.
Riga Airport has rebranded as RIX Riga Airport and announced it will start implementation of ambitious development plans, with construction of a new terminal and work on the creation of RIX Airport City.
To ensure the seamless opening of The New Terminal One at New York JFK Airport in 2026, the terminal project design-build team has opened a new pre-production centre where all technology will be tested.
London Stansted has received planning permission to extend its terminal building, transforming the airport experience at every step of the journey from check-in on departure to immigration on arrival.

Cairns Airport is to begin the transformation of its international terminal. It is described as an opportunity to “revolutionise the terminal” and create “a contemporary space” for passengers.
Orlando International Airport’s Terminal C features 15 additional gates, which will increase the airport’s capacity by 25%.
The airport’s $231m Concourse A expansion, scheduled for completion in 2024, will feature new gates, a retail store, a restaurant and two open bars.
The funding will support near-term Airport Expansion and Development Program (AEDP) projects to support expected growth in passenger traffic.
