Atrius products help airports and airlines digitise the physical world to improve the passenger journey, optimise operations, and drive revenue. Through a suite of SaaS solutions like Atrius Wayfinder and Atrius Locator, the company delivers real-time location intelligence, intuitive wayfinding, and actionable insights. For the air transport ecosystem, Atrius integrates seamlessly into existing infrastructure, including digital signage, mobile apps, kiosks, and third-party systems.

“Our data platform and industry-leading cloud applications for building performance and spatial intelligence maximise occupant experiences and transform spaces for smarter, safer, and greener outcomes,” Ladame explains. “Atrius products help airports and airlines digitise the physical world to improve the passenger journey, optimise operations, and drive revenue. For the air transport ecosystem, Atrius integrates seamlessly into existing infrastructure, including digital signage, mobile apps, kiosks, and third-party systems. Its Venue Management System (VMS) enables operators to easily update spatial data, helping maintain accuracy and consistency across all touchpoints, from airline apps to terminal directories to partner channels like Apple Maps.

“By enhancing how people navigate and experience airports, Atrius helps drive better non-aeronautical revenue, smoother passenger flows, and smarter resource decisions – all from a single source of truth,” says Ladame. “Some of the ways our solutions can support is through highlighting concessions and airport lounges, making it easier for passengers to understand total time between key points such as security and gates, and more. What makes our technology especially powerful is the network effect that emerges as more stakeholders adopt Atrius Wayfinder. Passengers may not think about the systems that power their journey, but they do benefit from a more seamless and enjoyable travel experience, with helpful information always at their fingertips.”

Atrius Wayfinder making travel more intuitive, accessible, and stress-free

Visitors to the Atrius booth (E7) at APEX FTE Asia Expo will experience how Atrius Wayfinder, an indoor mapping solution powered by blue dot technology, delivers real-time, personalised navigation. “Imagine step-by-step directions that can be adjusted to factor in terminal renovations or highlight nearby concessions or lounges without having to wander aimlessly,” Ladame shares. “Our Atrius Wayfinder solution makes this and more possible and is all able to be integrated into existing digital channels like signage, websites, mobile phones, and kiosks, making travel more intuitive, accessible, and stress-free.”

Sylvie Ladame, Sales Director, Atrius: “FTE events stand out for their ability to bring together a diverse mix of industry leaders who are shaping the future of travel. From airlines and airports to technology providers and government agencies, the conversations are bold, forward-thinking, and deeply collaborative.”

Atrius will demonstrate how spatial data can reduce bottlenecks, minimise missed connections, and provide dynamic recommendations and time-to-gate insights. Atrius products scale across systems and stakeholders, creating a unified layer of intelligence that brings buildings, people, and services into sync, helping airports improve both operations and the traveller experience.

APEX FTE Asia Expo brings together a wide range of aviation leaders, from airlines and airports to startups, OEMs, and government agencies in Asia,” says Ladame. “It is a space where collaboration drives innovation, and that is exactly where Atrius belongs, at the intersection of innovation, sustainability, and passenger-centric design. Our technology is designed to support seamless, efficient, and personalised travel experiences. By sponsoring APEX FTE Asia Expo, we are reinforcing our commitment to that vision in Asia. We want to connect with this diverse community, share how our open platform enables smarter operations, and build partnerships that help the industry move forward in a more sustainable and passenger-focused direction.”

Atrius is excited to share that it is preparing to launch a new Venue Management System (VMS) API, designed to give airports and partners greater flexibility and control over spatial data. This API enables seamless integration with third-party systems, ensuring that updates to maps, directories, and wayfinding tools are reflected instantly across all platforms.

“We’re also working on enhancements to our analytics capabilities, giving operators more actionable insights into passenger flow, dwell times, and space utilisation,” Ladame explains. “These innovations reflect our commitment to evolving with the industry and delivering smarter, more connected airport experiences.”

In addition to these developments, Atrius Wayfinder has several new UX and performance updates designed to make sharing information even easier. The user interface and experience have been enhanced to make directions clearer and the interactive map more prominent, especially on mobile devices where screen space is limited. “These changes make navigation easier and more intuitive for travellers,” says Ladame. “Performance has also been optimised, with initial load times for web-based maps now 55% faster. This improvement helps keep users engaged from the moment they access the platform, which is especially important in high-pressure travel environments. The new Venue Management System API also enables dynamic routing within Wayfinder. This means venues can adjust navigation paths in real time based on live conditions such as temporary closures or construction detours, further enhancing the flexibility and responsiveness of the indoor navigation experience.”

Atrius helping partners build smarter, more responsive spaces that truly enhance the travel experience

At APEX FTE Asia Expo (Singapore, 11-12 November 2025) Atrius will demonstrate how spatial data can reduce bottlenecks, minimise missed connections, and provide dynamic recommendations and time-to-gate insights. Atrius products scale across systems and stakeholders, creating a unified layer of intelligence that brings buildings, people, and services into sync, helping airports improve both operations and the traveller experience.

The theme of this year’s APEX FTE Asia Expo is ‘Accelerating Innovation’ and Ladame shares that what sets Atrius apart is its ability to bring everything together. “We don’t just offer a single solution, we provide a flexible platform that connects systems, spaces, and people across the airport environment alongside applications that can drive immediate value for our customers. Our open, cloud-native architecture makes it easy to integrate with what airports already have in place, and our solutions are designed to scale as needs evolve. But more than that, we focus on turning data into action. Whether it’s helping reduce energy costs, improving passenger flow, or supporting sustainability goals, we deliver insights that make a real difference. At the end of the day, we’re not just here to provide technology. We’re here to collaborate, to listen, and to help our partners build smarter, more responsive spaces that truly enhance the travel experience.”

Personalisation and real-time data are becoming increasingly important in aviation. Travelers today expect more than just efficiency; they want clarity, comfort, and confidence as they move through the airport. Atrius helps deliver on that expectation by providing real-time, location-aware guidance that adapts to each passenger’s journey. “Whether someone is navigating a tight connection, looking for amenities, or simply trying to find their gate, our wayfinding technology offers step-by-step directions tailored to their needs,” says Ladame. “By integrating with existing digital platforms like mobile apps and kiosks, we make it easy for airports to offer a seamless experience without requiring passengers to download anything new. It is all about reducing stress, improving flow, and helping travellers feel more in control of their journey.”

As passenger expectations evolve, technologies like indoor positioning, digital twins, and spatial analytics are helping shape the future of airport design and operations. Indeed, digital integration is at the heart of what makes Atrius so effective. “Our products are designed to work with the systems airports already use, from flight information displays to mobile apps and operational dashboards,” Ladame explains. “This means airports do not have to start from scratch. They can enhance their existing infrastructure with intelligent layers of data and insight. For passengers, it results in a smoother, more connected experience. For airport teams, it means better visibility, faster decision-making, and more efficient operations. By bridging the gap between physical spaces and digital tools, Atrius Wayfinder helps airports unlock the full potential of their environments.”
