Following a successful PoC facilitated by the FTE BIWG, Copenhagen Optimization’s Better Baggage solution is moving to full implementation at Toronto Pearson Airport.
The FTE Baggage Innovation Working Group (BIWG) has launched a call for expressions of interest for its new proof of concept (POC) initiative, which focuses on permanent bag tags.

Using the electronic bag tags travellers will be able to tag their own bags via the Alaska Airlines mobile app and skip the step of printing traditional bag tags upon arrival at the airport.
