Air India has selected RECARO as the premium economy and economy seating partner for its widebody aircraft. The partnership will see 22,000 RECARO seats installed in both line-fit and retro-fit programmes.
Southwest has selected RECARO’s BL3710 economy class seat for its new 737 MAX 8 aircraft, with a focus on “sustainability and meeting customer needs”. The airline will begin taking deliveries in 2025.
Air Canada is continuing to invest in comfort across its fleet of A321s and A320s, featuring a new cabin interior, new technologies and services such as Bluetooth audio and free high-speed connectivity.
SWISS has completed the cabin layout for its A350-900s, which will be added to the fleet from 2025. This includes a larger Premium Economy Class and “a totally new and unparalleled air travel experience”.
United is the first U.S. airline to add Braille to aircraft interiors, so travellers with visual disabilities can more easily navigate the cabin, “making the flying experience more inclusive and accessible”.
