Travellers at Scotland’s busiest airport can now check in their bags in just 30 seconds with the launch of its latest state-of-the-art facility, the UK’s first multi-airline bag drop.
The aircraft manufacturer has made a next-generation step in baggage technology with the unveiling of its innovative ‘smart’ luggage prototype, which features an embedded RFID chip that can be tracked using the ‘Find my Bag’ function of the bag’s accompanying iPhone app.

Daniel Skjeldam, CCO, Norwegian outlined to FTE how the airline’s new self-service bag drop has performed since implementation and where it will be rolled-out next.
