YVR launches new retail experience – Cascadia Collection – for “a fresh take on airport shopping”

Vancouver International Airport has opened its newest retail store – Cascadia Collection – in partnership with WHSmith North America. The open-concept store aims to offer a fresh take on airport shopping.

Vancouver International Airport (YVR) – a Corporate Partner of the FTE Digital, Innovation & Startup Hub and a Partner of the FTE World Ancillary & Retailing Working Group – has opened its newest retail store: Cascadia Collection. Located in the Domestic departures area, this open-concept walkthrough store is designed to offer a fresh take on airport shopping by blending travel convenience with elevated and locally inspired retail.

Reflecting the beauty of British Columbia, the space features warm wood finishes and touches of green that bring a unique West Coast sense of place.

One of Cascadia Collection’s standout features is North America’s first airport listening room, where travellers can test premium headphones in a cosy, immersive lounge environment, bringing a unique experience.

For fashion lovers, the store brings sustainable luxury to the airport with a selection of pre-loved designer bags from iconic brands like Louis Vuitton, Channel, Dior and Gucci.

Beyond luxury, Cascadia Collection showcases a mix of travel essentials, locally crafted goods, and indigenous-made products that reflect the spirit and culture of British Columbia.

YVR is partnering with WHSmith North America on this innovative retail concept. The opening is part of the airport’s ongoing commitment to enhance passengers’ journey and partner with best-in-class local and global brands to showcase the best of its community to the world.
