Alaska Airlines – a Partner of the FTE Baggage Innovation Working Group – has opened a cutting-edge space at SFO’s Harvey Milk Terminal 1. The premium and enhanced CX includes automated bag drop.
Lufthansa Group passengers at Frankfurt Airport can now use 21 state-of-the-art check-in counters and automated bag drop in Terminal 1, delivering “a convenient, modern and efficient travel experience”.
JFKIAT – the operator of Terminal 4 at JFK Airport – is deploying Amadeus’ Auto Bag Drop and Next Generation Kiosk self-service technology to deliver a smooth and efficient passenger flow through the airport.
Paris Aéroport is installing more than 100 state-of-the-art self-service bag drop units at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly airports. The technology will mean passengers can drop bags in just 30 seconds.
Tokyo International Airport (Haneda) has installed a new self bag drop system at Terminal 2 and 3, jointly implemented by Materna IPS and Tokyo Kanetsu.
Developed in partnership with Daifuku, Japan Airlines has debuted the self baggage drop system at Haneda Airport Terminal 1 to reduce queuing times.
