REDEFINING THE END-TO-END PASSENGER EXPERIENCE AND BUSINESS PERFORMANCE
Airport Authority Hong Kong has launched a Smartphone Express Bag Drop Service as a further development of HKIA’s Flight Token smart technology for “an even more efficient departure experience”.
Berlin Brandenburg Airport is offering passengers an additional digital service: BER Biometrics means all travellers can now use various stations when departing from Terminal 1 via facial recognition.
SEA Milan Airports has implemented FaceBoarding at Linate, allowing travellers to check-in and board using biometric facial recognition. ITA Airways and SAS are the first airlines to join the project.
Berlin Brandenburg Airport has introduced BER Traveller – a digital service for biometric access control that is now available to Lufthansa Group airlines passengers who are HON Circle Members and Senators.
Air Canada is piloting digital identification on select flights departing from Vancouver Airport to Winnipeg, and at the Air Canada Café at Toronto Pearson Airport, offering passengers paperless, seamless boarding.
AirAsia has further enhanced its facial recognition system at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, offering an end-to-end contactless journey for travellers.
