Iberia – a member of International Airlines Group (a Corporate Partner of the FTE Digital, Innovation & Startup Hub) – continues to enhance its onboard dining experience. After revamping its menus on long-haul flights, the Spanish airline is now updating its pre-order service available on all the short and medium-haul flights.
This service is available from 45 days up to 18 hours before the flight and offers a variety of fresh dishes for journeys up to 4.5 hours long. For long-haul flights departing from Madrid, customers can add exclusive Celebration Packs to their menu, which include a vanilla and lemon cake paired with a bottle of cava. The pre-order service is delivered directly onboard upon presentation of the receipt to the crew, to be enjoyed during the flight.
New culinary highlights include:
- Greek salad
- Oven-roasted chicken breast on a bed of chickpea ragout
- Vegan gnocchi with tomato ragout
- Ricotta mezzelune with sautéed spinach
- Teriyaki salmon with rice and wok vegetables
Additionally, the popular creamy rice with cuttlefish, prawn, and piquillo pepper remains on the menu. These new dishes join established favourites such as salmon poke and beef burgers.
Another new feature is the addition of breakfast options on early morning flights with overnight stays outside Madrid, where customers can enjoy a Mallorcan ensaimada with yogurt. Lunch and dinner services remain unchanged. With this update, Iberia reinforces its commitment to offering a personalised and high-quality onboard experience.
