Delta Sync Wi-Fi installed on 1,000th aircraft for premium, connected and personalised experience

Delta Air Lines has installed fast, free Delta Sync Wi-Fi on its 1,000th aircraft, as it continues its journey to deliver a premium, connected and more personalised experience to every customer, on every flight.

Delta Air Lines has reached a milestone with the installation of fast, free Delta Sync Wi-Fi presented by T-Mobile on its 1,000th aircraft, representing approximately 75% of the total fleet. SkyMiles Members can access fast, free Delta Sync Wi-Fi, as the airline continues its journey to deliver a premium, connected and more personalised experience to every customer, on every flight.

Delta’s multi-year journey to achieve gate-to-gate seamless connectivity is the foundation for its industry-leading Delta Sync product – the engine behind a truly connected onboard experience. Whether through Delta Sync Wi-Fi, which unlocks Members-only offers, exclusive content and travel inspiration inflight, or Delta Sync seatback, which makes the seatback screen feel more like your home smart TV, Delta aims to redefine what it means to stay connected at 30,000 feet.

“Delta’s commitment to delivering connectivity for every customer has been game-changing, both for our customers and for the industry at large,” said Ranjan Goswami, Senior Vice President, Customer Experience Design, Delta Air Lines. “We’re turning our planes into platforms, where customers can stay entertained, connected and informed from take-off to landing. Delta Sync is the enabler that makes these personalised experiences and exclusive offers possible.”

Delta is also introducing Kids Map – a vibrant, interactive adventure, now rolling out to select Delta Sync seatback screens. Kids Map transforms the inflight journey into a world of discovery, where young travellers can explore continents, landmarks and nature through colourful illustrations, playful games and engaging quizzes.

Meanwhile, beginning early next year, the new ‘Destination Stories’ feature debuts on select flights, transforming the seatback screen into a story-led travel guide. Travellers will be able to book local activities, discover exclusive offers and dive deep into their destination, right from their seat.
