Pegasus partners with Overwatch AI to accelerate AI-powered operational decision-making

Pegasus Innovation Lab has partnered with Overwatch AI as a strategic investor and design partner, deploying an AI powered platform that helps pilots, cabin crew and operations teams access critical information and make faster decisions.

Summary:

  • Pegasus Innovation Lab teams with Overwatch AI to accelerate AI driven operational decision making across flight and cabin operations.
  • AI platform for airline operations enables pilots, cabin crew and ops teams to retrieve critical information via natural language.
  • Operational efficiency through AI supported by a platform already used in 30,000 monthly flight operations worldwide.

Pegasus Innovation Lab, which leads Pegasus Airlines’ innovation-driven transformation, has entered into a strategic partnership with Overwatch AI as both a strategic investor and design partner for an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered platform aimed at enabling pilots, cabin crews and operations teams to access critical information more quickly and support operational decision-making.

Based in Silicon Valley and focused on developing partnerships with the global technology ecosystem on behalf of Pegasus Airlines, Pegasus Innovation Lab is collaborating with Overwatch AI, a platform developed specifically for the needs of airline operations. The platform enables teams to quickly retrieve information through natural language to support operational decision-making across a range of topics, including technical issues, weather assessments and airport and airline requirements. Pegasus has also begun actively using the platform within its operations.

Developed specifically for the needs of airline operations, the platform developed by Overwatch AI is currently used across 30,000 flight operations globally per month and supports increased operational efficiency.

“At Pegasus, we see digitalisation as one of the key foundations of operational excellence,” said Barış Fındık, Chief Technology Officer, Pegasus Airlines. “Through this broad collaboration with Overwatch AI, we aim to enable our teams to access critical information more quickly and make more effective decisions across operational processes. We believe the transformation artificial intelligence will bring to aviation operations presents significant opportunities for the industry.”
