Travellers can now browse over 4,000 channels of entertainment on the Emirates app, create personalised playlists and sync them to their seat once on board.
digEcor, now rebranded as Burrana, has officially acquired Collins Aerospace’s commercial inflight entertainment (IFE) business.
The new IFE service is currently offered free to passengers on board 10 aircraft, with the total deployment increasing to 39 aircraft in April 2019.
Integrating Raleigh & Drake’s platform into Panasonic’s NEXT IFE platform will enable passengers to book experiences such as tours and activities in-flight.
FTE was at APEX EXPO in Boston this week, where the likes of Bluebox, Immfly, AirFi and Inflight Dublin revealed new products and collaborations.
The Allosky Cinematic VR headset will be piloted as a First Class amenity onboard Alaska Airlines’ Seattle-Boston and Boston-San Diego routes.
