Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) has started construction on its new terminal regeneration. The £100 million development, known as LBA:REGEN, will transform LBA’s existing terminal building and CX.
George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) has been allocated $150 million by Houston City Council as part of the Terminal B transformation, which promises “an elevated CX with cutting-edge technology”.
The largest-ever interior renovation of concourses and passenger gate areas at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport’s Terminal 1 is now moving into the second phase of the construction programme.
ORD is to receive an additional $40 million in Airport Terminal Program grant funds. The grant will be used to upgrade customer amenities, improve security screening and expand accessibility at Terminal 3.
Vienna Airport has started its €420 million terminal expansion. The development, to be complete in 2027, includes modern new retail and F&B, new lounges, and a state-of-the-art security checkpoint.

Lithuanian Airports is to begin expansion of the Kaunas Airport terminal in Q1 2024, with completion scheduled for mid-2025. This will double capacity to two million and include “technological advances”.
