Mobile boarding reaches Latin America


Copa Airlines - Mobile Boarding
Copa Airlines is the first airline in Latin America to offer mobile boarding capabilities.

The launch of Copa Airlines’ new mobile website makes it the first airline in Latin America to offer passengers the ability to use mobile boarding passes.

Tocumen International Airport in Panama has also become the first Latin American airport to accept the 2D mobile boarding passes on international flights.

Diana Mizrachi-Kopel, Director of Customer Experiences for Copa Airlines, said: “The launch of m.copaair.com puts Copa Airlines in the forefront of airline mobile web services in Latin America. This technology contributes to our goal of continuous enhancement of the customer travel experience, giving passengers practical tools to make their travel more convenient and hassle-free.”

Passenger will also be able to use the new mobile website to check real-time flight status updates, travel policies and upcoming flight timetables.

    This is not true that Copa Airlines is the first airline in Latin America to offer passengers the ability to use mobile boarding passes.
    GOL is already offering this service since the beginning of last year. Just take a look at m.voegol.com.br.
