Changi Airport Group – a Headline Partner of APEX FTE Asia Expo, Singapore, 11-12 November 2025 – and Jewel Changi Airport have unveiled a line-up of SG60 events from July to August, themed ‘Together, We Make Magic’ – a tribute to Singapore’s unique identity and the people who shaped it.

“We’re excited to launch celebrations for our nation’s 60th birthday,” said Jayson Goh, Executive Vice-President of Airport Management, Changi Airport Group. “Changi Airport has grown alongside our nation, and it is a place which holds precious memories for many Singaporeans and travellers. With a vibrant line-up of events, we look forward to welcoming everyone to be part of the SG60 festivities at Changi Airport.”

For music lovers and karaoke fans, the ultimate National Day sing-along at the SG60 Homecoming Concert takes place at Jewel on 1 August. Meanwhile, join ‘Buddy’ and ‘Mr Merlion’ on a night walk down the glowing Changi Airport Connector on 27 July at the SG60 Changi Airport Charity Walk. This fund-raising event is organised in support of Community Chest-funded programmes that empower children with special needs and youth-at-risk.

Celebrate Singapore’s national flower, the Vanda Miss Joaquim, at Terminal 3 with a 270sqm floral garden from 21 July. The showcase features orchids like Dendrobium Changi Airport and Renanthera Singaporeans, anchored by a seven-metre-tall Vanda Miss Joaquim centrepiece– a tribute to Singapore as a City in Nature. At Terminal 2, a six-metre floral Merlion created using 60 types of plants stands by the Wonderfall, symbolising national pride and heritage. There are also floral displays featuring iconic local snacks like curry puffs that bring a sensory celebration of Singaporean identity. At Jewel, over 1,200 orchids will transform the Jewel Forest Valley into a vivid floral display from 1 to 31 August.

Finally, discover the ‘Evolution of Travel’ pop-up at the Changi Experience Studio. This immersive exhibition takes visitors through the transformation of air travel, from traditional travel agencies to today’s digital booking platforms. Explore the evolution of Changi’s terminals over the decades and follow the airport’s journey of growth as a smart and passenger-centric travel hub. A unique highlight reveals how inflight dining has adapted over the years to global tastes, diets and food innovations.
