Delta brings FOX One onboard, expanding Delta Sync with live sports and premium streaming

Delta has expanded its Delta Sync ecosystem with a new FOX One partnership, bringing live sports, news and entertainment, including FIFA World Cup 2026, to domestic flights and elevating the connected passenger experience.

Summary:

  • Delta expands its Delta Sync ecosystem with a new FOX One partnership, bringing live sports, news and entertainment, including FIFA World Cup 2026, to domestic flights.
  • High engagement inflight content gives SkyMiles Members access to a 24 hour FOX One trial via Delta Sync Wi Fi, ensuring travellers stay connected to major moments at 35,000 feet.
  • Enhanced digital passenger experience supports Delta’s vision for personalised, connected travel through premium streaming, live sports and curated entertainment.

As Delta Air Lines continues to expand the Delta Sync ecosystem, the airline has launched a new FOX One partnership that delivers the world’s most-watched moments within reach at 35,000 feet. FOX One brings together the full portfolio of FOX’s branded content – more than 5,000 hours of annual programming – with sports, news, weather and more. And this summer, in addition to hit series such as Masterchef, The Floor and the full slate of FOX News’ coverage, the streaming platform is home to the world’s most-watched sporting event: FIFA World Cup 2026. From the opening match on 11 June to the final on 19 July, soccer fans can follow every moment of the upcoming tournament on FOX One via Delta Sync on domestic flights.

“Live sports is one of the highest engagement categories for our customers inflight,” said Julieta McCurry, Vice President – In-flight Entertainment and Connectivity. “It’s communal, and part of how they stay connected to moments that matter. Partnering with FOX One lets us bring more of those moments onboard in a meaningful way.”

SkyMiles Members who log into Delta Sync Wi-Fi on domestic flights can access a 24-hour trial of FOX One via their personal device (no credit card required), letting customers log on, tune in and cheer on their favourite teams, both onboard and beyond – ensuring they never miss the action. SkyMiles Members can access FOX One onboard multiple times per year and explore all it has to offer, including news, on-demand shows and entertainment and of course sports.

The FOX One sports universe includes live games and events from NFL on FOX, MLB, NASCAR, IndyCar and college football (including the Big Ten), plus hit series such as Doc, Memory of a Killer and The Masked Singer, along with FOX News.

“We strive to bring the best-in-class FOX programming to viewers when they want it and where they want it including thousands of feet in the air,” said Tony Billetter, SVP of Strategy and Business Development, Direct to Consumer, Fox Corporation. “What better way to kick off our partnership with Delta than by bringing this year’s most anticipated sporting event along with FOX’s leading news coverage and premium entertainment to their loyal travellers.”
