ALBA Robot

ALBA Robot builds and operates the first autonomous indoor mobility platform for airports. Its self-driving electric vehicles transport passengers on demand through the terminal without an escort and without any infrastructure modification.
The platform delivers three layers of value from a single vehicle. The first is autonomous mobility for PRM, elderly, families, and any passenger who needs to move efficiently. The second is a moving DOOH advertising channel: a rear display delivers proximity-triggered promotions as the vehicle passes duty free, lounges, and F&B, creating non-aeronautical revenue from passenger transport. The third is mobile computer vision: the onboard sensors capture people flow, dwell time, and queue data across the terminal as a by-product of navigation, producing operational intelligence at zero incremental hardware cost.
“We integrate with airport operations through a centralised fleet management platform with standard APIs, and we reduce PRM service cost by 35% compared to the manual wheelchair model,” explains Giulio Ranucci, Chief Revenue & Marketing Officer, ALBA Robot. “We are currently operational at Paris CDG with Groupe ADP, Manchester, Nice, and Cagliari, with Basel and a major confidential international hub coming online shortly. In the U.S., we have just completed a significant pilot at Dallas Fort Worth International during the FIFA World Cup and are launching a new project at Denver International Airport.”
ALBA Robot’s first objective at FTE Global is to share real operational learnings. “We have just completed a major pilot at DFW during one of the most intense passenger traffic periods in the airport’s history and we are now working on a full-scope project that leverages all the platform’s value-added services,” says Ranucci. “At FTE Global we want to bring those insights to the conversation alongside the experience from our European deployments in Paris, Manchester, Nice, and Cagliari. Second, to engage directly with airport decision-makers evaluating autonomous mobility. We have proven unit economics, a clear commercial model, and a deployment playbook refined across multiple airports on two continents. Third, to expand the conversation beyond PRM. Our experience shows that most passengers who use the service are not PRM at all. They choose it because it is faster and more convenient. That shift from accessibility tool to universal terminal service, combined with DOOH revenue and data intelligence, is the story we want attendees to take home.”
The ALBA Ride vehicle will be on the company’s stand for hands-on interaction with the passenger interface. ALBA Robot will run live demonstrations of the fleet management platform showing how a single operator can dispatch vehicles, manage DOOH content, and monitor terminal intelligence from one screen. “The innovation I am most excited about is the data layer,” Ranucci shares. “We will show real terminal intelligence from our deployments: people flow, dwell time at retail zones, queue formation at gates. No static sensor network produces what a fleet of moving vehicles captures as a byproduct. That is the layer most people have not seen yet, and it changes the economic equation for airports entirely. We are also eager to share how our work with Groupe ADP at Paris CDG, our growing European footprint, and our new project at Denver are shaping the next phase of the platform.”

Designed to optimise flow, improve security and reduce the organisational pressures involved in keeping passengers and their cabin baggage safe, the SECTRO solution takes full advantage of the latest baggage automation technologies to optimise operations and enhance the passenger experience.
The SECTRO solution totally rethinks the passenger screening experience. It replaces multiple linear security screening lines (SSLs) with an automated process to guide people seamlessly through passenger and cabin baggage separation. The SECTRO solution is very flexible and can easily handle peak flows. It allows slower passengers to be overtaken, preventing bottlenecks. The automated baggage checking process is fully centralised, designed to optimise flow, and can achieve up to 30% savings in operational resources for the airport.
SECTRO is BEUMER Group’s fully automated system for screening passengers and their carry-on baggage. It replaces the traditional linear checkpoint with a parallel process by grouping functions together centrally.
Passengers divest at self-service stations, baggage is routed to a central screening system with images reviewed remotely, and passengers collect their belongings at a self-service reclaim station. Anything flagged goes to a separate re-check aisle, so the main flow keeps moving. The parallel layout screens the same number of passengers per hour as a serial flow, with up to 30% fewer operators. It works in new terminals and retrofits into existing ones.

Blueberry Technology

Blueberry Technology builds BBGo, an autonomous mobility service designed to help passengers who need mobility assistance move through airports with greater independence. BBGo gives passengers multiple ways to travel: autonomously, using a joystick, or with assistance from an airport mobility agent. For airports, airlines, and mobility service providers, the platform also provides fleet management, dispatch, mapping, telemetry, and operational analytics. Blueberry Technology works closely with the organisations that provide passenger assistance on the ground, so BBGo is designed to complement existing airport operations rather than operate as a standalone technology.
“Our biggest objective at FTE Global is to let people experience BBGo for themselves,” explains Rajeev Ramanath, Ph.D., Founder and CEO, Blueberry Technology. “There is a big difference between watching autonomous mobility in a video and actually getting into the vehicle, selecting a destination, and having it take you there. Bodd is an Australian enterprise body intelligence platform helping organisations capture precise human body data at scale. Trusted by United Airlines, Bodd has built a 3D body scanner that takes about 60 seconds. That single scan matches a crew member to an airline’s entire uniform catalogue and gives them the right size across every garment, first time. It removes the need for large in-person fitting sessions, cuts returns and replacement orders, and keeps the uniform looking the way the brand intended it to look. The same scan also captures a broad set of health and wellness data, so airlines can support crew wellbeing, injury prevention and physical readiness across the whole workforce rather than one person at a time.
“Where it gets interesting for the wider ecosystem is at population level,” explains Rob Fisher, CEO, Bodd. “Once you have accurate body data across thousands of employees, you can plan uniform ranges properly, forecast sizing and stock with confidence, and understand workforce health trends. That is an intelligence layer airlines have not had access to before, and it feeds directly into better operational and commercial decisions.”

At FTE Global, BrightSign wants to talk with the people who own passenger experience and terminal operations and hear where their screens are actually letting them down. “Most of what we learn about this industry comes from those conversations,” says White. “Second, we want to elevate the infrastructure behind the display from a technical consideration to a strategic business decision. Airports invest heavily in content, wayfinding design, and media programmes, then run all of it on hardware that wasn’t built for continuous operation. When that fails, it takes the whole investment down with it. We’d like to see more of those conversations happen early, at the design stage. Third, partnerships. Attendees will see three live demonstrations at the BrightSign booth: a flight information display environment, an airport advertising and retail media application, and real-time rail schedule signage, which speaks to the multimodal side of the journey and shows the same platform handling air and ground in one deployment. “The technology I’m most excited to talk through is the integrated Neural Processing Unit in our Series 5 and 6 players, which enables AI at the edge,” White shares. “For a terminal operator, that means content can respond to real conditions in real time without shipping data offsite and without compromising video performance or security. It’s the difference between a screen that displays information and a screen that reacts to what’s happening in the space around it.”

LiFE in the Air

LiFE in the Air makes the end-to end software airlines use to run retail and entertainment in the cabin. There are four parts to it. The onboard POS is what the crew works with, and it keeps taking card payments when there is no connectivity, then settles once the aircraft is back on the ground. CabX is the passenger-facing side, running either on the seatback screen or on the passenger’s own devices, so airlines can monetise more of the time that passengers spend in the air by implementing advertising and in-seat ordering, promoting digital products and more. SkyConsole is the back office, where the airline’s own commercial team changes menus, prices and offers in real time. The Trolley Management System works out what actually needs to be loaded, flight by flight.
“We built the system to fit into hardware airlines already have rather than to replace it or we can bring our own,” explains Andy Palacios, Vice President, LiFE in the Air. “The solution is hardware-agnostic and modular, and it integrates with payment acquirers, catering and inventory systems, operational and flight data, and existing IFE hardware. Carriers running the full set of features typically see onboard sales rise by at least 30%.”
At FTE Global, LiFE in the Air wants to receive feedback on its retail, ancillary and digital solutions from the experts attending the event. “Second, we want to talk to carriers in North America and beyond who have not yet treated onboard retail as a serious revenue line,” says Palacios. “A lot of airlines still run the cabin on a spreadsheet, a paper manifest and the tacit knowledge. There is real money sitting in that gap. Third, partnerships. Payments, catering, connectivity, IFE hardware. Our platform is deliberately open, and the more of that ecosystem we connect cleanly to, the less integration work an airline has to absorb. We would rather leave with a dozen substantive conversations than a few hundred badge scans.”
Visitors to the LiFE in the Air booth can expect a working system, not a video loop. They can pick up the POS device, run a transaction, play around with the IFE experience, and see the back-office. The whole demo takes about ten minutes and it uses the same build the company’s airline customers are running.
“One solution we are working on is our pre-departure seat upgrade auction, which lets passengers bid on a better seat before departure, with the airline setting floor prices and the rules for who is eligible,” Palacios shares. “It sits alongside the post-departure upgrade we already offer through CabX, where a prime seat that is still empty once the doors close can be sold in the cabin. Between the two, seats that would have flown empty stop flying empty.”

Built specifically for aviation, Wingman brings together the operational foundations airlines need, including METARs, TAFs, NOTAMs, regulatory content and flight data, while also incorporating an airline’s own operational manuals and internal information. When a crew member asks a question, Wingman considers both the current operational conditions and the way that particular airline operates, providing an answer tailored to the situation. The platform is designed for frontline workers across the operation, including pilots, cabin crew, OCC, dispatch and maintenance teams.
“Wingman comes from the flight deck, not from a generic AI lab,” says Kotil. “That’s exactly why it works for you.” The platform is already live with airlines operating more than 330 aircraft and handling more than 50,000 flights per month. Overwatch AI also closed a $1.5 million pre-seed round in May 2026, backed by United Airlines Ventures and Pegasus Innovation Lab, as it looks to expand its presence in the aviation market.
At FTE Global, Overwatch AI will be focused on meeting North American carriers, demonstrating Wingman and gaining a deeper understanding of the operational pain points facing the industry. The company will also be looking to build partnerships and introduce Overwatch AI to a wider aviation audience.
Visitors to the booth can expect a hands-on demonstration rather than a conventional AI presentation. “Bring us a painful scenario or a hard question so we ask Wingman live,” says Kotil. The company is particularly keen to demonstrate how the platform performs when confronted with the kinds of real-world questions that can take frontline teams too long to answer today.

Skyeler Smith, Growth Director at Pattern, highlights the company’s focus on making autonomous operations a natural extension of the existing airport infrastructure, particularly through its autonomous baggage shuttle, Pathfinder.
“Pathfinder is not just about autonomous capabilities,” says Smith. “It’s also about how we support this technology with a tele-operation layer to ensure smooth operations, even in unexpected circumstances.”
The tele-operation layer allows human operators to monitor the autonomous vehicles and intervene when needed – such as when an unplanned obstacle, like construction zones, impedes the shuttle’s path. By providing operators with a full 360-degree view of the shuttle’s surroundings, Pattern ensures the vehicle can continue its journey with minimal disruption.
Key innovations also include Pulse – Pattern’s dispatch and routing optimisation tool, which plays a critical role in managing both autonomous and human-operated systems. Pulse helps to orchestrate the movement of baggage across the airport ecosystem, ensuring that both efficiency and operational quality are maximised.
“By optimising routes and dispatching decisions, Pulse empowers airports, airlines, and ground handlers to move towards more autonomous operations while solving existing efficiency gaps,” Smith explains.
The efficiency gains offered by Pulse go beyond simply automating tasks. It allows airports to explore new possibilities for baggage movement, such as remote check-ins or linking baggage flows to off-site rental car facilities. This intelligent routing provides airports and airlines with the tools to better manage the complexity of baggage logistics, improving speed, accuracy, and overall experience for passengers.

Takeoff Together’s Horizon is a turnaround management platform for airline ground operations. “We built it for the gap between the airline control centre and the ramp, including turns where airline staff and a ground handler share the work,” explains Marcin Anyszkiewicz, Founder & CEO, Takeoff Together. “OCC manages disruption across many flights; the teams around each aircraft work from different versions of the plan, and hear of a change one at a time. Horizon represents the day as a live digital twin, linking each aircraft turn to the work underway, its timing and the teams carrying it out. The twin holds the sequence of work around each aircraft across those teams. In HorizonOCC, our machine learning model, trained on U.S. flight data, predicts delay and disruption and uses those predictions to rank the flights. When an inbound runs late, Horizon computes a revised plan and shows the math behind it: how the revised timings follow from the late arrival, and which constraints the calculation held to. That calculation gives headquarters and the frontline teams at the aircraft one current sequence to work from.”
Takeoff Together has two key objectives at FTE Global. One is to find its first station: one airline or ground handler willing to run Horizon at one airport on real turns. “The second is to be argued with,” says Anyszkiewicz. “We want experienced ramp and control centre operators to work through the replay, question its assumptions and show us where it stops matching the operation they know. That criticism matters because it tells us what must be fixed before Horizon runs at that first station.”
At its booth, Takeoff Together will be replaying a real airline operating day rebuilt from public records. “It is an ordinary Friday covering seven aircraft and 34 turns,” Anyszkiewicz shares. “We chose it because one routine delay is enough to show how quickly the work around an aircraft can fall out of sequence. The day runs in HorizonOCC as a live digital twin. Our machine learning model, trained on U.S. flight data, predicts delay and disruption across the flights and ranks them by those predictions. Then one inbound begins running late. Attendees can follow the effect into its turnaround as Horizon computes a revised plan and shows the math connecting the late inbound to the timings in that revision.
