Autonomous driving technology firm Argo AI has selected Munich Airport’s LabCampus innovation centre for testing and developing its vehicles.
San Diego International Airport’s Innovation Lab has launched a one-year programme, focusing on autonomous technology that can enhance airport operations.
The trial, launched in partnership with KLM Ground Services and Smart Airport Systems, aims to assess the safety and efficiency of autonomous vehicles.
Following an extensive two-year flight test programme, Airbus has successfully concluded its autonomous taxi, take-off and landing (ATTOL) project.
NASA is updating the term used to define Urban Air Mobility to Advanced Air Mobility to include a more comprehensive view for future airspace mobility.
The wheelchairs, trialled by BA customers at JFK Airport, are equipped with anti-collision technology and allow customers to move freely within the airport.
