All Nippon Airways will carry out trials for an autonomous electric bus that will transport passengers and staff working at Haneda International Airport.
McCarran International Airport has announced that it will trial self-driving vehicles to optimise efficient ground transportation in and out of the airport.
The shuttle seats six people with additional room for standing passengers and has a built-in automated electric access ramp for wheelchair accessibility.
The partnership with Vanderlande will focus on applying the latest autonomous vehicle technology to the baggage handling process at Hong Kong International Airport.
The autonomous passenger air vehicle (PAV) prototype completed a controlled take-off, hover and landing during the flight.
