Lufthansa to add fast-track security lanes and expand ‘meet and assist’ service

Lufthansa expand its ‘meet and assist’ service
Lufthansa is focusing on improving service levels across its Frankfurt and Munich hubs, and will expand its ‘meet and assist’ service as part of this strategy.

Lufthansa will introduce security fast lanes for high-value customers and also expand the ‘meet and assist’ service at its Munich and Frankfurt hubs this summer.

The airline’s HON Circle members, Senators, First and Business Class passengers will have access to fast-track security lanes at all intercontinental destinations and at selected European airports.

The German carrier has also announced that it will expand its passenger transfer services at Frankfurt and Munich airports. Staff will meet and assist passengers when entering the arrivals area, while a dedicated arrivals service will be introduced for premium passengers.

A number of visual signage enhancements will also be made to improve wayfinding for transfer passengers.

These enhancements to the passenger experience on the ground will be complemented by a number of investments in the onboard experience, including the introduction of a new Premium Economy Class and lie-flat seats in Business Class.
