DFW to create immersive digital video experiences within forthcoming new Terminal F

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport has announced a new public call for artists, or artists teams, to create immersive digital video experiences for two corridors within the forthcoming new Terminal F.

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) – a Headline Partner of FTE Global 2026, taking place in Dallas, Texas, on 8 to 10 September 2026 – has announced a new public call for artists, or artists teams, to create immersive digital video experiences for two corridors within the forthcoming new Terminal F.

The commissioned artworks will utilise the corridor’s architecture to create an engaging visual experience across large digital displays. Each corridor will feature digital screens along both walls, showcasing works that may include dynamic visual narratives, soundscapes and interactive elements – turning routine walks into memorable experiences.

Artists are invited to submit proposals inspired by four themes: connected journeys, legacy and innovation, cultural tapestry, and landscape tales – all of which celebrate the spirit and rich blend of cultures, history and landscapes that define North Texas.

DFW’s public art program includes about 30 permanent installations, with plans to greatly expand the collection through 16 additional installations across four, multi-year phases. Each new work will be designed to elevate the travel experience, enrich public spaces and showcase the region’s cultural vibrancy.

Global art consultancy and production agency MASSIVart is managing the call for artists, which will include significant participation from the local art community. A panel of veteran North Texas art experts will provide input and recommendations on the submissions.
