FTE Asia 2013, taking place in Hong Kong, 7-9 May 2013, will be complemented by a free IATA workshop, at which experts from IATA and guest speakers will lead in-depth technical sessions in an interactive environment.

The 1st FTE Europe Conference took place in Amsterdam last week as part of ACI Airport Exchange. More than 550 organisations attended the event to hear about the latest ideas, processes, solutions and equipment for the airport of 2020.

At last week’s highly successful FTE 2012 event, which was attended by almost 450 senior executives from 34 countries around the world, we made some major announcements about our future activities.
Seven organisations were recognised for their outstanding efforts to improve the passenger experience at the 2nd Future Travel Experience Awards, which were presented at the Future Travel Experience 2012 Gala Evening in Vancouver.
FTE 2012 will provide a platform for companies to launch their latest solutions into the marketplace. Among the new solutions being introduced is Scan&Fly from Type22.
TAM Airlines, Aéroports de Paris and Aéroport d’Alger have joined more than 160 other leading organisations in confirming their attendance at FTE 2012.
