REDEFINING THE END-TO-END PASSENGER EXPERIENCE AND BUSINESS PERFORMANCE
FTE kicks off the ‘Year of Innovation’ by highlighting various ways in which airports, airlines and other stakeholders can improve the travel experience on the ground.
Travellers flying from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol will soon be able to use a new luggage delivery service between their hotel and the airport.
London City is the first European airport to offer this baggage delivery service, which allows passengers to have their bags transferred between the airport and central London.
Exploring how permanent bag tags, home-printed bag tags, baggage delivery, remote bag drop and lost baggage services can improve the passenger experience.
Low-cost carrier Air Arabia has introduced a check-in facility in a Sharjah city mall, enabling passengers to drop off their bags and collect their boarding pass before going to the airport.
Abu Dhabi Airports Company has installed a new offsite check-in facility, allowing more passengers to check-in and print their bag tags before arriving at the airport.
