Hong Kong International Airport has welcomed the opening of a second space by premium lounge brand Kyra – a venture from Airport Dimensions, SSP and Travel Food Services Limited. The lounge builds on the strong performance of the first Kyra Lounge, opened in summer 2024, reflecting rising demand for enhanced airport hospitality across one of the world’s fastest-growing aviation markets.

Situated in Terminal 1’s West Hall, the 1,200sqm lounge offers seating for 230 guests along with a variety of dining, relaxation and work-friendly areas.

A premium food and beverage offering is central to the Kyra lounge experience. The menu blends distinctive Hong Kong flavours with well-loved international classics, supported by a bar programme of exclusive craft signature cocktails and mocktails, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to place-led hospitality first introduced with its debut lounge.

The built environment stays true to Kyra’s core brand proposition, inspired by the natural rhythm of light, energy, and emotion across a 24-hour cycle. Each area of the lounge is carefully designed to offer different energy levels, supporting moments of rest, recharge, or focus, regardless of an individual’s time zone or itinerary. Through deliberate shifts in light, colour, and texture, Kyra creates an intuitive environment that actively supports traveller wellbeing and influences how guests feel and move throughout their journey.

Kyra Lounge is open to all travellers at Hong Kong International Airport, regardless of airline or ticket class, offering a premium hospitality experience for every journey. Access is available to Priority Pass members, as well as LoungeKey cardholders. Travellers can also purchase entry online or at the lounge, subject to availability.

Airport Dimensions President EMEA & APAC Errol McGlothan said: “Having a second Kyra Lounge at Hong Kong International Airport within such a short timeframe is a milestone we are extremely proud of. It reflects not only the appetite from travellers for high-quality airport experiences, but also the strength of our partnership with SSP and TFS. APAC continues to be a major growth region for Airport Dimensions, and Hong Kong is a strategic hub where we see tremendous opportunity. With this new lounge, we are expanding our vision for Kyra and offering even more guests an experience that is both welcoming and distinctly reflective of the region.”

SSP Asia Pacific CEO Jonathan Robinson commented: “We’re delighted to extend the Kyra experience at Hong Kong International Airport alongside Airport Dimensions and TFS. This second lounge represents an exciting next step in our shared ambition to elevate hospitality across the region. Our team has drawn on deep expertise in travel dining to create menus that balance global favourites with flavours that resonate locally, and we’re proud to contribute to a space that reflects the energy, diversity and expectations of today’s APAC travellers.”

Travel Food Services Limited MD & CEO Varun Kapur added: “The growth of the Kyra brand at HKIA is a testament to how effective collaboration can elevate the passenger experience. TFS is pleased to contribute its strong operational expertise in lounges to this next chapter, ensuring the new lounge delivers warm, attentive service and a high standard of hospitality. Alongside Airport Dimensions and SSP, we’re proud to be a part of the evolution of airport experiences across the region.”
