Changi Airport Group (CAG) – a Headline Partner of APEX FTE EXPO Asia, 18-19 November 2026, Singapore – and the National Arts Council (NAC) have announced a three-year partnership to explore ways to present Singapore’s artistic excellence to the world through Changi Airport. This collaboration aims to create new opportunities for both local and international passengers to experience Singapore’s arts and culture, through a series of curated art displays, live performances and activations within the airport’s terminals.
Over the next three years, a series of multidisciplinary arts initiatives will be presented within Changi Airport, spanning literary, visual and performing arts. These include Singapore Literature (SingLit) poetry showcased through live poetry engagements, as well as live music performances that extend the reach of NAC’s ongoing ‘I Play SG Music’ initiative into the airport environment. During key arts festivals, Changi Airport may also serve as a global stage for visual artists, amplifying the international visibility of Singapore’s creative talents.

The partnership between NAC and CAG is the latest in a series of collaborations that reflect NAC’s broader strategy of bringing the arts into public spaces beyond traditional cultural venues. Guided by ‘Our SG Arts Plan’ (2023-2027), these efforts are part of a larger vision to transform Singapore as a distinctive city, with the country as a canvas for the arts. Recent initiatives include commissioned artwork at MRT stations and themed trains, large-scale community art installations at viaduct spaces and the integration of local poetry and music across the MRT network as part of commuters’ daily travels and venues like Marina Bay Sands.
