REDEFINING THE END-TO-END PASSENGER EXPERIENCE AND BUSINESS PERFORMANCE
London Luton Airport has extended the hours for its free Prebook Security service that allows passengers to skip security queues by reserving a 30-minute slot ahead of their arrival at the airport.
Southampton Airport – part of AGS Airports – has entered a new phase in its multi-million-pound project to enhance security screening with state-of-the-art Next Generation Security Checkpoint scanners.
Copenhagen Airport has awarded Vanderlande a contract to deliver 20 automated screening lanes, with central image processing, as part of a major revamp of its passenger checkpoint process for a stress-free CX.
Fraport is setting a “new standard of passenger security” and enhancing CX with the regular use of walkthrough scanners at Frankfurt Airport, following a one-year test phase at Concourse A in Terminal 1.

London Luton Airport – a Corporate Partner of the FTE Digital, Innovation & Startup Hub – has completed the roll-out of next-generation security scanners for a “simple, friendly CX”.
Fraport has equipped nine additional security checkpoints at Frankfurt Airport with modern CT technology, as well as an innovative lane concept in Departures B-West of Terminal 1 for an enhanced CX.
Zurich Airport has begun trialling two digital security scanners, featuring AI algorithms, from Rohde & Schwarz – an exhibitor at FTE Global, the “CES of Aviation” taking place in Los Angeles on 28-30 October 2024.
Zurich Airport is partnering with Smiths Detection – an exhibitor at FTE Global (LA, 28-30 October 2024) – to trial CT security scanners, which enable travellers to leave liquids and electronics in hand baggage.
Leeds Bradford Airport is transforming CX with new, cutting-edge security scanners. The next-generation screening technology enables travellers to leave liquids and large electronic items in their bags.
